First time back since they started the renovation. I have to say the food was way better than before. When my 12 year old says this is the best comeback restaurant then you know you are in the right place. Service is much improved and more smiles then I have ever seen. The views have always been amazing and I think they fixed the cover or something over the outside dinning. I could be crazy but it appeared different but different in a good way. We will be back APS are very good, fries were good and the beer was cold We will be back. Thank you.
Located next to the beach at Hickam AB, this is a great place to get some food while watching planes take off and land at HNL. The location alone gets a 5*. It's so secluded off the beaten path, and since it's inside the base, there is restricted access to ID cardholders only. The views looking south to the ocean are amazing. As an aviation enthusiast, I enjoyed watching the planes take off and land at Honolulu International Airport. There is a decent menu with your standard pub fare. I opted for the buffalo chicken sandwich with a side salad. The food was pretty good and decently priced for Hawaii. Many other places that are located on the water like this place are a bit more expensive. There might have been a staffing issue, as our server was probably covering the entire restaurant and bar. I don't fault her for that and my wife and I were not in any rush whatsoever. This gave us more time to relax and enjoy the views.
